What you need to know before booking

  • Only our experienced captains will be allowed to operate the houseboat.

  • We do not accept pets aboard.

  • There are no 120-volt outlets on board, only 12V USB outlets.

  • You will need to bring your own food for the length of your stay. If required, any last-minute purchases can be made at the Sunova mall right beside the marina. We will offer resupplies to your houseboat for longer stays.

  • Make sure to bring sunscreen, bug spray, rain gear, and warm clothes for when the temperatures cool off at night, and at least one dry-sac to keep your electronics dry when paddling the river.

  • You will need to bring at least one cellphone and keep it charged at all times. Since cellphone coverage is very good at all of our mooring locations, it will be our primary means of communication with you once you're moored.

  • Once on location, you can book activities in and around Pinawa based on availability with 24-hour notice. If you want to ensure that the activities you are most interested in are available, we strongly recommend booking them at the same time as your stay.

  • If you are planning activities in Pinawa on your own, keep in mind that the mooring locations are located 9 kilometres upriver, which means a 30-40 minute paddle for an experienced paddler.

  • To ensure everyone's comfort and safety, we allow a maximum of 4 carry-on-sized pieces of luggage, 2 large grocery bag, and 1 large cooler (14 inches tall max). Please take this into consideration when packing for your trip.
